The diffrence between the wise and the follish

Hello again!

Here is what I got out of the scriptures today.

“A rebuke goes deeper into a man of understanding than a hundred blows into a fool.”
(Proverbs 17:10)

If you are a fool then you will not listen you’re parents etc, and will be punished for it aswell.

But if you are wise, and you see that you have done wrong when you’re parents, boss, coworker, freinds, pastor etc correct you, you will listen to them.   I think it EXTREMELY inmportant that you do understand what you have done, and that it is wrong. If you don’t tell whats right from whats wrong, its basicaly the same as not being able to tell fact from fiction, which is also very important.

give heed and trust in the Lord

Hello again!

Today my promise is in proverbs, chapter 16:

Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD.
(Proverbs 16:20)

I think this is saying that, when we read the word of God, we should open our hearts and ask God if he will let us see him.

I also think that no matter what happens to us, if it is somthing so large has a death of a loved one, or if it’s somthing as small as forgetting where you put a computer game, WE CAN GO TO GOD ABOUT IT!!!!!  No matter what it is, we can ALWAYS go to God about, we can “trust” God, no matter what, God will provide.

Please tell me what you think about the passage, and what we can get out of it in you’re prospective.
