All things beautiful

06 Sep

Hello again!

Here is what God gave me today.

11 He hath made everything beautiful in its time: also he hath set eternity in their heart, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God hath done from the beginning even to the end.

Eccl 3:11 (ASV)

I think there are three main points in this passage,

1: God makes everything beautiful in its time. Or, you might say, when they belive Jesus to be there savior.

2: God has set eternity “in their heart”, this time I think it’s talking about everyone’s need to have a God, it could be themselves, a computer, a cell phone, it could be Buda,  Allah or a dozen others, anything can actually be a “God” or an “idol”. But, the passage is talking more of having Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God the father has your God, other wise you can’t have eternal life, nothing but Jesus can save you. And only Jesus can give you that “eternal life of pleasure” you are looking for, of course, you still “die” but then you go to heaven, to live with Jesus!

3: Here, I think that it is referring to the places in scripture where people would say the bible “contradicts” itself, like how some passages we all will be saved while others say non-Christians go to hell while all the Christians go to Heaven (I like to think that eventually we will all go to heaven , though I wouldn’t exactly like to wager my life on that).

Any way, I ‘d say that covers the main points of the passage, I apologize if I didn’t word some things correctly though.

You are loved!

Joshua Cleveland
