Jesus, yet again in the old testament!

22 Sep

Hello again!

Here is what God gave me today:

13 Better is a poor and wise youth than an old and foolish king, who knoweth not how to receive admonition any more. 14 For out of prison he came forth to be king; yea, even in his kingdom he was born poor.

Eccl 4:13-14 (ASV)

Really, I’m not sure there could be a clearer picture of Jesus. King Herod, who tried and kill this new king, Jesus being born into a carpenters house, going down to prison (Hell) in death, for three days, and rising back up again to be king!

Isn’t it amazing how the old testament points forward to the new, time, and time again?

I personally  find it amazing every time I see it.

How could it have been possible for a man to have written this?! Much less 40 different men in 40 different walks of life, in 40 different times! And, it’s still one of the most accurate to the original books out there! And, the all agree on the same point! If you had two different people, who lived in the same house, in the same time, and asked them to anser a question on the subject “The best way to chop a tree” you would most likely end up with two different answers.

It’s amazing how God worked through these men to agree! It’s amazing how God fits the gospel in every “nook and cranny” in the Bible! It’s amazing how God does everything!!!

So that’s my two main points here, that God is amazing (as we all already know by now) and that, the gospel is everywhere in the Bible, you just have to take the time out and look for it.

You are loved
