How not to be satisfied, and how to be satisfied

23 Sep

Hello again!

Here is what God gave me today in his word:

10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance, with increase: this also is vanity.

Eccl 5:10 (ASV)

If you love money, You will never, ever, have enough of it, if you love cars  you will never have enough of them, but if you love Jesus,  he will fill your cup to over flowing!

You can only have one master, Jesus or money/satan

Luke 16:13 (NIV) “No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”

The way I see it, it’s by far better to store of treasures in heaven, instead of on earth:

Mat 6:19-21 (TEB) “Do not save riches for yourselves here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and robbers break in and steal. Instead, save riches for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and robbers cannot break in and steal. For your heart will always be where your riches are.”

Heb 13:5 (RSV) “Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have.” As David prayed, “Lord don’t give me to much, or I may trust in it more than you, but also, do not give me to little, or I may be tempted to steal” If you are struggling with debt, trust in the Lord, for he is good, and his love endures forever.

Just wait on the Lord, he will provide What you need when you need it.  all we need do is continue asking him, even though he does already know every word before we even say it, he tells us to ask, so when we ask, he gives, when we knock, the door will be opened.

I hope this at least some what helped you with a situation that you might be having, or in the future will almost certainly will be having.

You are loved!

Joshua Cleveland
