Here’s what God gave me today in his word:
3 If a man beget a hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years are many, but his soul be not filled with good, and moreover he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he: 4 for it cometh in vanity, and departeth in darkness, and the name thereof is covered with darkness; 5 moreover it hath not seen the sun nor known it; this hath rest rather than the other: 6 yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, and yet enjoy no good, do not all go to one place?
Eccl 6:3-6 (ASV)
3 If a man beget a hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years are many, but his soul be not filled with good, and moreover he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he: Wow, interesting, isn’t it? If his soul isn’t filled with the good of the gospel, it’s better for that person to have an “untimely birth” which in some cases, means the baby dies. Better to be dead than to not now God when you die after a long life.
This just increases the importance of being saved before it’s to late! God gave his son, HIS SON! For you, though I’m not exactly an expert on the subject, I’d say that would be pretty hard, much less for the son to agree to it! So that we can be saved and have eternal life with him! And for us to just turn that away, and say “no thanks Jesus Lord God almighty, I don’t want eternal life and salvation from sin” is just plain out crazy!!! Why would anyone, anyone, do something like that? The Scriptures say it’s better to never be born then to die and go to Hell, your guilt tells you the same story, God the father sent his son for you just for that purpose! We don’t have to do anything! Jesus did it on the cross! All that is required is for you to ask Jesus into your heart, believe he is with you, obey his commandment, by that I DON’T mean you have to obey them perfectly, everyone sins, and we would all “fall short of the glory of heaven” if it wasn’t for Jesus, and it’s not like we do our best and then Jesus does the rest, because of your new life in Jesus, everything else sort of, follows along, sure you still sin, but now you can overcome that sin, now it’s not some thing called “habitual sin” which just means you do it over and over, now you can stop it.
I could take me the rest of today to tell you everything, and even then you may not accept Jesus into your heart, so I’m just going to be blunt about it now: You can now either chose to follow Satan, which ends in death, or you can chose to follow Jesus Christ, which leads to eternal life, your chose.
If you chose the correct answer, which would be Jesus, then I suggest you visit: http://www.settingcaptivesfree.com/ They have some great courses on… Just about everything.
You are loved!
