The big king and the wise man

28 Sep

Hello again!

Today God has given me something in his word:

13 I have also seen wisdom under the sun on this wise, and it seemed great unto me: 14 There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it. 15 Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.

Eccl 9:13-15 (ASV)

Doesn’t that story sound familiar? We were small, and helpless, the huge king (the Devil) attacked us, we didn’t stand a chance, and then, Jesus came, and with his wisdom, we were able to and still are able to, get rid of the Devil when he attacks!

I always love seeing Jesus in the old testament, it just reminds me again about how amazing God really is!

God is so wise! So utterly amazing and incomprehensible, to us. He is willing to give us some of that wisdom, all we need to do is trust in him and ask for it! God is isn’t a skinny giver, if we ask for something that is according to his word and will, we will be given what we ask, however, God works in his time!!! And we can’t put a time limit on him, he is literally out of this world, and his ways are not ours. We must simply “trust and obey, for there is no other way, to happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey” I think that’s how the song goes.

Anyway, God loves you and me and the whole world! He loved and loves us to much, he was willing to send his son to die for us! And the son was willing to die for us! Isn’t that amazing?! And all so that we could be saved from our mighty adversary!

Are you remember the wise man (Jesus) today?

You are loved!
