Meet, greet, and grace be with you

01 Feb

Hello again!

Here is what God gave me today:

You should know that our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I shall see you if he comes soon. Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who come from Italy send you greetings. Grace be with all of you. (Heb 13:23-25)

Lets pick out a few key verses here:

1. “with whom I shall see you if he comes soon.”

2. “Greet all your leaders and all the saints.” 2/12. “Those who come from Italy send you greetings”

3. “Grace be with all of you”

So, what do we get out of these verses?

Firstly, we should ‘greet’ each-other… However obvious that may seem, a lot of people ignore each-other, so, this primarily applies to people who are ‘in the midst of an argument’.

Secondly, we should {though this isn’t in these verses} we should: I Corinthians 16:20 — “Greet one another with a holy kiss”. The body of Christ, should love… Itself.

And, the final and third point, ‘Grace be with you”. Can I ask you something? How is it that we can have grace? … It’s only by Jesus (the) Christ that we can have grace. And, we can give that grace out to others… We can bless other Peoples lives with even the smallest of acts of kindness, even, say, greeting each-other…

You are loved!
