The sermon today was unfortunately focuses on “self” and how “we have a choice”; so I decided to try to save you the drama and only give a few pointers on the better points to the sermon:
The sermon today was based on Romans 12:1-2 (yes, only 2 verses):
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:1-2)
The Pastor showed us a few “prerequisites that are needed for our salvation” including but not limited to; our fully giving ourselves over to God; and our serving God and how we can do that… e.g. Through Christ Jesus.
And if you’re wondering, yes, that’s all I feel comfortable posting.
You are loved!
