This is what God gave me today in His word:
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
What is real truth? As Pilate asked, “Truth? What is truth?”. It’s actually quite the philosophical question; one which has an obvious answer for anyone who wants to bother to look for it. Real truth is Jesus Christ. – What is ultimate truth? What is absolute truth? What is truth? Jesus Christ. He can claim such titles, because of one simple fact: He is the polar opposite of the Devil. – The devil is the father of lies; thus Jesus must be truth. However, there’s more to it than just that:
Jesus is truth, because His death was the means by which God chose to get rid of the hold of the lies of the Devil from all who believe in Him. Jesus is life, because His death killed death. Jesus is the way to God, because His death was the way by which God chose to connect Heaven and Earth; the way by which the gap of sin was bridged! — How can Jesus claim to be the way, the truth, and life itself? How can He not!
Jesus lost His life so that we could have ours, and have it to the fullest. So many out there ask what purpose there is to life; Jesus is the purpose to life! We can come to Him if we want to know the truth. We can come to Him for life, and for a purpose to live. We can come to Him in order to come to God the Father. In all the important problems of life, Jesus Christ is the answer. So then, are we coming to Him for guidance? Are we truly finding our life in Him, or are we finding our life in something else?
You are Loved!
