Promise seventeen

Hello again! Today God has given me the blessing of another promise! So here is what that promise is:

Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.

(Proverbs 4:26)

So, if we make sure that we “look where we are going”(an other words, if we make sure that we are not sinning and that we know for certain that we are not “swerving to one side or the other”) Then God will be willl guide our lives for what he wants us to do, remember that, what God want us to do, not what we want to do.

You are loved!

promise sixteen

Hello again, today I found another promise that I want to share with you!

for the devious person is an abomination to the LORD, but the upright are in his confidence. The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the dwelling of the righteous. Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he gives favor.

(Proverbs 3:32-34)

Well, as I see it, this is both a grave warning and a wonderful promise. So, if we are devious or cheat at everything we do, then we are an abomination in God’s sight, and to me that sounds pretty bad, but, if we upright then the Lord has “confidence” in us, and we will be given greater things to take care of, perhaps things such as a church or being a mentor to someone. And the same applies to the house of the wicked and dwelling of the righteous, if we are wicked in our hearts, and have not accepted Jesus Christ, then we are cursed by God! But, if we have accepted Jesus and are righteous, then we have God’s blessing, if we are scornful God will scorn us if we are humble we will have God’s favor, it’s a recurring theme, if we are mad at each other then that makes God unhappy, but if we show compassion to one another then God is happy with us, over and over again it shows us that if we are wicked God is unhappy, if we are righteous then God is happy.

You are loved!

promise fifteen

Hello again. Today God has blessed me with another promise!

My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding,
(Proverbs 3:11-13)

So, I believe that this is telling us that if we listen to God and see what it is that he will have us to change, then we will be loved by God, and therefore our churches and families will grow and prosper.

What are you’re thoughts on the passage?

You are loved!

promise fourteen

Hello again, today I found another promise! And this is what is says:

My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. (Proverbs 3:1-2)  But also, if we obey our parents then we will have peace(not being punished by my parents really does bring peace, it’s after you sin that you get worried) so if we obey our parents not only will we live longer lives,And, we will also have peace with God and with our parents to!

I belive that this means that, literary, if we listen and obey our parents, that we really will have a longer life(The less punishment you get then the longer you live)!    I belive that this means that, literary, if we listen and obey our parents, that we really will have a longer life(The less punishment you get then the longer you live)!

You are loved!

promise thirteen

Hello again, today I actaluy found a some what soboring promise.

For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it, but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous will be rooted out of it.

(Proverbs 2:21-22)

So that’s a warning and a blessing as I see it. If we are treacherous and evil, then we will be uprooted and have to live in Hell… But if we live righteous lives according to God’s word. Then we will live forever in him and with him and in Heaven and the new Heaven and the new earth!

promise tweleve

Hello again, today I have found another promise for you and me!

he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity,

(Proverbs 2:7)

I sure do like my sheild when I go into battle, don’t you(Jesus Christ is our sheild) and it’s always good to know that you have somone up above who has sound wisdom, and we can get both our sheild and wisdom if we ask, Adam and Eve wanted wisdom, you see were they ended up. But if we ask God for HIS holy and sound wisdom, then he will give it to us!

But, we must live upright lives and walk in integrity, that, however, does not mean that we have to be absloutly perfect, but instead, out of our love for God good deads will spring, again, that does not mean that we just sit around doing nothing, first we come to God, second we accept him as our savoir, third we get into the word and start praying, fourth out of our love we love others.

Please feal free to comment your own promises and ideas about the passage.

You are loved!

promise eleven

Hello again, today I finished the book of Colossians and moved on to Proverbs, so now here is the promise I found in chapter one.

For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacency of fools destroys them; but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”
(Proverbs 1:32-33)

I think that this is telling us today that if we listen to God then we will be at ease in everything, because even in money matters if you just wait on him he will be your guide in everything.

But if you do not listen and obey him, then you are acting foolishly, and according to the verse above, that is vary bad.

You are loved!

commandment two

Today I found, well, abunch of commandments!

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

(Colossians 3:15-21)
I like these commandments because the majority of them are telling what fathers mothers and children should do, I like to have  step by step instructions, and this is basically what this is!

You are loved!
